First Fridays in Bixby Knolls

In November, First Fridays in Bixby Knolls was dedicated to El Dia de Los Muertos, The Day of the Dead. Stretching along Atlantic, from San Antonio to Bixby Road, there was plenty to see!

There were several artists in the Alley at Burlinghall Drive.

Michael Bermudez, @michaelbermudezart, had an installation in the Art Expo. Interesting work, all based on mathematics.

Here is a collection of work found in the Art Expo.

This artist makes pictures through a technique called quilling. It’s a very labor intensive process. Unfortunately, she didn’t have a card to give us, but hopefully she will see this post and contact Art Clout!

E. Thor Carlson, @gallery.thor.lbc had a pop-up gallery featuring work from Eric Michael @ericmichael_art, Caryn Bumgartner @carynbumgartner, and Susan Erikson Hawkins @susanehawkins. The show was only open for two days, but was quite remarkable.
